Choose the plan that fits your making lifestyle
I'm currently working on developing a pricing model that makes this space financially sustainable while remaining accessible to everyone in our region, especially students and early-career makers.
My goal is to set membership fees low enough that cost is never a barrier to creativity, yet high enough to keep the lights on and equipment maintained. This is why I'm actively seeking financial support and sponsorships.
The more operational costs we can cover through donations and grants, the lower membership fees can be—potentially even free for basic access. Your support directly impacts accessibility.
Building a community where ideas come to life
MakeHub was born from a simple belief: everyone should have access to the tools and knowledge they need to create, regardless of their economic background or technical experience.
As a maker myself, I've experienced firsthand how access to the right equipment and community can transform ideas into reality. I've also witnessed how prohibitive costs and lack of resources can stifle creativity and innovation.
This makerspace is my commitment to changing that. It's about creating a space where hobbyists, students, entrepreneurs, and artists can experiment, learn, fail, and succeed together—without the burden of expensive equipment purchases or workshop rentals.
I'm not just building a facility; I'm cultivating a community of makers who support each other, share knowledge freely, and inspire one another to push boundaries.
To democratize access to making, foster innovation through community, and empower individuals to bring their creative visions to life.
Make professional-grade tools and equipment available to everyone, regardless of financial means. Education and creativity shouldn't be limited by cost.
Build a supportive network where makers of all skill levels share knowledge, collaborate on projects, and inspire each other to grow.
Provide the space and resources for experimentation and risk-taking. Great ideas need room to develop and permission to fail.
Offer workshops, classes, and mentorship programs that build skills and confidence. Learning by doing is the best education.
Operate as a self-financing non-profit that reinvests in equipment, programs, and community outreach. Built to last, not for profit.
Start with essential equipment and expand based on community needs. This is a living space that evolves with its members.

How We're Financed: MakeHub operates as a non-profit, self-financing initiative. We're bootstrapping the basics and seeking community support to expand capabilities and keep membership costs low.
What We Need Funding For:
We Need You! Building a makerspace takes more than money—it takes people who are passionate about making and community.
Ways to Get Involved:
Every skill matters. Whether you're an expert machinist, a hobbyist woodworker, or someone who just loves organizing—we can find a way to work together.
This is a Build in Progress! MakeHub is actively being developed, and transparency is important to us.
Where We Are Now:
Every contribution—financial or otherwise—directly accelerates our timeline and improves what we can offer the community.
We're committed to making MakeHub accessible to students and educational programs. Special considerations include:
The more financial support we receive, the more students we can welcome through our doors at little to no cost.
